What languages can I dictate in?
Hindi, English, and major Indian regional languages — including code-mixed speech where you switch between a regional language and English medical terms in the same sentence.
Does it replace my clinical judgement?
No. Voice dictation pre-fills your SOAP consultation, which you review, edit, and approve. AI-assisted suggestions support your judgement — they don't replace it, and nothing is saved until you confirm.
Is my audio recorded or stored?
Audio is used only to generate the transcript and is then discarded. Only the final text you approve is saved to the patient's record.
What if it mishears a drug name?
Unrecognised or uncertain medicine names are flagged with suggestions from the medicines database for you to confirm. You can also type the correct name — manual entry is always available.
Does it work offline?
Voice transcription needs an internet connection. If you're offline you can still capture the consultation by typing, and it syncs once you're back online.
Is it secure and ABDM-compliant?
Yes. Records are stored with strong encryption in transit and at rest, and prescriptions are generated on Mangalcare's ABDM-certified HMIS (M1, M2, M3).
